What is Scoreo Learning?
Scoreo Learning is a homework accountability and monthly counseling program for grades 7–12. Teachers upload real homework, every assignment is scored against one fixed standard, and every student completes a signed counseling session built from their own work each month. Students who finish hear from a hometown athlete or community figure. Scoreo Learning is not a tutoring service, a homework-help app or a grading system. Teachers keep teaching and grading. We review the homework, counsel every student every month and hold the standard.
Who is it for?
Public school districts, charter networks and private schools with grades 7 through 12. It is built first for schools that need a turnaround, and it works just as well for schools that want to stay at the top.
How much does Scoreo Learning cost?
$24 per student per year ($2 per student per month), billed annually, with a 250-student minimum. The minimum engagement is $6,000 a year. Districts can pay by purchase order and invoice.
Does it replace teachers or our gradebook?
No. Teachers teach and grade exactly as they do now. Scoreo reviews homework against a separate fixed standard, runs the monthly counseling sessions and gives teachers a record of every answer. The Scoreo report card sits alongside your official report card.
How does homework get to you?
Teachers upload assignments in the teacher view as photos, PDFs, Word documents or text. Schools can also send whole batches through a secure upload page with their own upload key. Students don’t have to do anything new.
Who reviews the homework?
Every assignment is reviewed against the Scoreo Standard with AI assistance, and every zero-tolerance finding (copying, work that isn’t the student’s, made-up sources, disrespectful content or missing work) is confirmed by a person before a student ever sees it.
What is a zero-tolerance violation?
Five things are zero tolerance: copied work, work that isn’t the student’s own (including AI-written work), made-up sources or data, disrespectful content, and an assignment never turned in. Any one of them scores that assignment 0.00 and makes the month Critical.
What does a student actually do each month?
They sign in with a student ID and access code and work through seven steps in order: a briefing, their numbers, each violation with their own marked-up paper, each serious habit, the required standards, what they did right, and a signed set of commitments. Knowledge checks must be answered correctly, every attempt is recorded, and written answers are required.
What is the Home Team?
Home Team is how we reward the self-review itself. We invite local athletes, coaches and community figures to record short messages that play when a student signs their session, good month or hard month. Every signed session is also one free entry in community giveaways such as signed jerseys, game tickets or a classroom visit.
Is the giveaway legal for students under 18?
It is designed as a free community-relations giveaway: no purchase, no payment and no cost to enter, written official rules, prizes donated by partners, and parent or guardian consent. Rules are reviewed for each state before a giveaway runs.
Do athletes or teams see student information?
No. Partners record general messages. The student’s first name is shown on screen by the portal. No student records, scores or contact details are ever shared with athletes, teams or sponsors.
How is student data protected?
Scoreo works for the school as a school official under a written agreement, uses student information only to provide the program, never sells it, never uses it for advertising, and stores uploads in private, encrypted storage. See our privacy page for details.
Can parents see the sessions?
Yes, schools can share each signed session with a parent or guardian. Critical sessions say so on screen, so students know the record goes home.
How fast will we see results?
Sessions open on the first school day of every month, so the first results come within 30 days of your first uploads. A full semester gives you a report card for every student and a school-wide comparison month over month. If the numbers don’t move, you will see that as clearly as when they do.
What does it take to become a Scoreo Honor School?
In a final 30-day window: every student counseled, a school homework score of 4.75 or higher, fewer than one zero-tolerance violation per 100 assignments, 95% of homework on time, and no student flagged for the same serious problem three months in a row.
Can we try it first?
Yes. Most schools start with a one-semester pilot in a single grade or building. Request a pilot and we will walk you through the student and teacher portal on a call.
